Mrs. Delia
Fudge Dies
At her home in Arlington, Mrs.
Delia Fudge, reared in thia coun
ty being the eldest daughter of
the late John C. Clifton, passed
away Monday, another victim of
that dreaded disease, the great
white plague. She was the widow
of the late Y. W. Fudge, another
former Colquittan, greatly es
teemed.
For months she has borne her
aufferinga with patieiici and forth
fade.
To those who have known Mrs
Fudge it will be no surprise to
them to know that she expressed
to iovej ones her readiness for the
transition. This splendid woman
ia survived by five sone and
daughters, most of them grown,
by one eieter, Mrs. B. 0. McNair,
of Arlington and by one brother
Mr, B.C. Bird of this oily and by
several other relatives.

W. Bird, Mre. Hattie Fudge, Mr.
F. E. Fudge, Mrs. Fannie Powell,
Mre. W. C. Dancer and Mrs. F. C.
Bell were among those who went
over to Arlington from here to at
tend the funeral services held
Tuesday.

here Tuesday. Since the closing
of Emory University the elder
who is a “tudent at Emory, spent
a portion of bis vacation attending
the Summer School. Afterwards
he worked for the Mission Board
at Lake Juntduska N C.
Young Mr. Tabb who has been
interested in Epworth League
work since be was ten years of
age, lias been awarded more di
plomas and more, higher degrees
for bis Expert Institute work, and
Epworth League accomplishments,
than any one in the U. S.
