The concert at Dalton went off in
good style. Joe Crudup offered a
solo or two for the benefit of the
home folks and they said he did it
well. “The program was * all that
anyone could ask,” commented sev-

made the fellows glad for they were
especially anxious to give a good
program there for tjie sake of Cru

Mercer boys who claim Dalton as
their, home.

Ariving at Carrollton on sched

of Guy Cheney’s home town. The
boys, were with those same girls I
most of the time during the after
noon, riding around oyer the City
and talking with them at the recep

ladies at the Woman’s Club.
After the concert another party 1
was given iti honor of the boys and ,
when the clock tolled the hour, of
midnight, the fellows returned to
quarters, pronouncing the day at Car
rollton a great success.
- To make the visit complete, the
girls galled for the fellows Saturday
morning and took them on a ride
over the country. Quite a nice ride j
it was, too! One big Packard was
