On February 4. the Alpha Gams
j oudly initiated nine new sisters.
Congratulations go to Bev Adams,
Pat Barnwell, Nancy Beals, Diana
Broussard, Carol Jackson, Lyn
Mayes, Linda Orr, Pam Renfro and
Connine Wiggins. At the Feast of
Roses following initiation, Connie
Wiggins was named Model Pledge.
A skit was also presented and the
Alpha Gams have agreed that an
Oscar should go to Linda Mac-
Garrah and Nancy Bartlett for
their outstanding portrayals.

The Initiation Banquet was held
February 9 at the Davis House.
SuSu Brown was announced as
Model Pledge and Mary Jo Allen
as Model Sister. The Scholarship
Award was given to the Big-Little
Sister team of Pam High and Pam
Chappell. Laura Crago received the
Best Pledge Song Award and
various other awards were given
for Pledge Songs, including the
award given to the Chorus Girls—
Lynn Kicklighter and Sara Jane
Harrison.

Congratulations to Joan Kyllonen
who was named a Military Staff
Sponsor at the ROTC Military
Ball.
Also Congratulations to the new
Chi O pledges, Janda Sims, Orlan
do; Kay Spence, Thomasville; and
Melanie Whittle, Thomasville.
Donna Davis, Marcie Hobbs, and
Pattie Ann Richey were elected as
RWGA representative*.
Congratulations to Chi O's bad
minton team in their wins over Phi
Mu, ADPi and Alpha Gam.

There was excitement in the Phi
Mu suite a few weeks ago. At a
candlelighting it seems that the
candle went around one time past
engaged! Becky Sims is now
married to Jimmy Forbts from the
University of Florida. Wedding
bells will ring for Lou Roberts June
12 when she marries Gary Wilson.
Carol Carey, another former sister
here, is pinned to a PI Kappa Phi
at the Unlv. of Alabama. Susan
A bare, the former Susan Jones,
had a little boy recently. Also con
gratulations to Shirley Harrison
who is pinned to Bob Daniel, SAE.
Congratulations to Dori Ripley,
who was named Battalion Sponsor
and Karen Rivers, who was named
a Staff Sponsor at the Annual
ROTC Military Ball.
Jeanne Harrison Moore was
elected President and Lou Roberts
was elected Vice-President of the
Macon Phi Mu Alumni Chapter.
Dorothy Dillon was recently elected
to the RWGA Judicial Committee.
The Phi Mu’s won their basket
ball game against Alpha Gamma
Delta. Julie Hulsey led the team
to the most points while Kay As
kew led the team with the most
fouls.

the kids at Georgia Stats Hospital
in Milledgeville. Also, the pledgee
recently completed a project at
Lucky Duck Nursery In Macon.
The Faculty Slave Auction waa
held Tuesday, February 18. Cer
tain prominent faculty members
were auctioned off during Chapel
break for their services at the
noon or evening meal. The pro
ceeds from this sale will be ueed
for future service projects.
APO announces the addition of
