F>o K ersCame Off,
My little son, five yesrs old, was afflicted
with a disease for which the doctors had
no name. The nails c.me off bis fingers,
and tbe fingers came off his hands up to
tbe middle joint. For three years be has
suffered dreadfully, and has taken quan
tities of medicine. He is now getting
well under treatment of Swift’s Specific.
John Deihl.
Peru, Ind, Jan 12,1889.
Remarkable Caae.
For two years I had rheumatism so bad
that it disabled me far work, and confined
me to my bed for a whole year, during
wb ch time I could not even rai.-e my
bands to my bead, and for three months
could not raise m t self in bed; was re
duce! li. fl «b from 192 to 86 pounds; was
treated by best physicians only to giow
wor>e. Finally I took Swift's Specitc,
aad wain began to improve After a
while was at my work, and for the past
five months have been as well as I ever
was—all from the effect* of Swift’s Sp -

First. It is just as neces

be in good mechanical con

•imitated in order to ob>
lain the best resuit from
its ti*e as it is necessary
that the soil be prepared
thoroughly before planting,
if one would make a good

Smcond. When one buys
a fertilizer the first question
should l»e not how much
ammonia the manufacturer
guarantees, but whether
the ammonia is thoroughly
assimilated and ready to
act immediately on the
plant. This he will know
by examining a complete
and absolutely ammoniated
fertilizer, like the ASHE

the component part* are so
Dulled aa U* form a perfect
whole. The field test of
such good* will bring about
the moat profitable n-aults.
Third. Aa one is largely
depsndekt upon the inlegri
ty of the manufacturer he
should buy fertilizers from
a bouse known to be abso
lutely reliable and who
would only handle goods
made by absolutely flrat

one will avoid paying out
