John is as fat as ever and siys that Judge B >wdon 1 uns up <» him occasionally. While at Bowdon LithiaSprings last week we met that noble-hearted and true man, Judge John C. Bowdon. By the way the Judge is having his resi dence repaired and they say he is pre paring to bring in his blueeyed widow. There is one insect that stieketb closer than a brother, end its initials are r. b. It is now rejoicing in the st ength of its appetite and lying in wait for the unsuspecting picnicker upon whom it will surely satisfy its insatiate longing for human prey. Mrs. (’layland requests us to state that she will exchange millineryjajoods tbrj-ountry produce, such as chickens, eggs, butter, corn, etc. But request that you bring the produce when you come after the goods, as she cannot sell you the goods without the produce or the cash on the spot.
