Old Dr. Bone's Medicines-—A Falla
cy Exploded.
1"|~OW do those who say that. Coneumptknns not cur
hie, get over the fact that the lungs of many pe
sons, on poet mortem enmlnatibB, exhibit scars, inco
testibly proving that Oonsumptiou or tubercled . ogshad
existed in the patients, and that the Tubercle dad been
healed, leaving the sufferer to die of a totally different
disease?
A Cure is difficult; but difficult as it is Old Sr. Bone’s
Bitters and Cathartic Pills, together with his Pulmonary
Pills and Pulmonary Powders, will accomplish it.
The Bitters and Cathartic Pills are designed to strength
en the system, cleanse the stomach and restore it to its
natural tone, and to equalize the circulation of the blood.
TTia Pulmonary Pills and Powders are to allay cough
and irritation, to remove the mucus and heal internal Ul
cers. . ,
These Preparations will Cure Consumption as certainly
as the Sun sets and rises, as well as Bronchitis Asthma,
and all other afflictions of the air passages and respiratory
organs. The Bitters and Cathartic Pills alone will cure in
every instance Epilepsy or Fits, Dyspepsia, Chronic Laver
Complaint and Nervous diseases of every character.
Dr. L. H. Bone & Son, and successors to old Dr. Chris
tian Bone, dispenses these wonderful Remedies from.his
Office, No. 284 Grand Street, New York City. He would
much prefer having a personal interview with each of
his patients, but those residing at a distance by remitting
$3 and stating symptoms of their disease, will receive
Medicines by Express that will surely restore them to
health. They will sec that Dr. Bone’s Treatment proves
that Consumption can be cured. Dec 2.1857..d*wly

limbs almost instantly, and I desire thus to inform the
suffering that they may avail themselves of its advantages.
I am not hired to give this testimony of the wonderful
curative powers of this extraordinary remedy, but to do
it of my own accord and at my own expense ; anil you

ting of
having visited Europe, Asia and Africa, as well as South
America-lias spent three years among the Indians ot our
Western country—it was iu this way that the Indian
Root Pills were first discovered Dr. Morse - was
the first man to establish the fact that all dis
eases arise from Impurity ol the Blood—that our
strength, health and life depends ujion the vital fluid.
When various jtussages become clogged, ami do net act
in perfect harmony with the ditleraut functions oi the
body, the blood loses its action, becomes thick, corrupted
and diseased ; thus causing all pains sickness and dis
ease of every name ; our strength is exhausted, our health
we are deprived of, and if nature is not assisted in throw
ing oil the stagnant humors, the blood will become chock
ed and cease to act and thus our light of life will foroever
be blown out. How important then that we should keep
the various passages of the body free ami open. And How
pleasant to us that we have it in our power to put a med
icine in your reach, namely, Morse’s Indian Root Pills,
manufactured from plants and roots which grow around
tiie mountains cliff in Nature’s garden for the health and
recovery of diseased man. One of the roots from which
these Pills are made is a Sudorific, which opens the pores
of the skin, and assists Nature in throwing out the liuer
jiurts of the corruption within. The second plant is
Expectorant, that opens and unclogs the passage of the
lungs, and thus, in a shooting manner, performs its duty
by throwing off phlegm, and other humors from the ungs
by copious siiittiug. The third is a Diurectic, which gives
ease and double strength to the kidneys ; thus encour
aged, they draw large amounts of impurity from the
blood, which has been thrown out bountifully by the uri
nary or water jiassage, and which could not have been
discharged in any other way. The fourth is a Cathartic
aud accompanies the other j>ropertics of the Pills while
engaged in purifying tho blood: the coarser particles ot an
purity which cannot jiass by the other outlets, are thus
taken up and conveyed oil'in great qualities by the bow
ls^
j. rom tiie above, it is shown that the Morse Indian Root
Pills not only enter the stonmche, but become united with
the blood, for they find their way to every part, and
completely rout out and cleanse the system from ail im
purity, aiiu the life of the body, which is tiiis blood, he
comes perfectly healthy ; consequently all sickne
pain is driven from the system, for they cannot remain
when the body becomes so pure and clear.
The reason why we are so distressed when sick mid why
so many die. is because they do not get a jiassage whic
will pass to the afflicted parts, anil which will open the
natural jiassage lor the disease to be cast out; heuce
large quantities of food and other matter is lodged, and
the stomach and intestines are literally overflowing with
corrupted mass;'thus undergoing disagreeable formenta
tiou, constantly mixing with tho blood, which throws tiie
corrujited matter through every vein and artery, until
life is taken from the body by disease. Dr. Morse’s Pills
have added to themselves victory ujiou victory, byre
swing millions of the sick to blooming health and liappi
ness. Yes, thousands who have been racked or tor
mented with sickness, pain and anguish, and whose lee
hie frames have been scorched by the burning elements
of raging fever, who have been brought, as it were, with
in a step of the silent grave, now stand ready to testify
that they would have been numbered with the dead, had
it not been for this great and wonderful mediciue, Morse’:
Indian Root Pills. After one or two doses had been ta
ken. they were astonished, and absolutely surjirised iu
witnessing their charming effects. Not only do they gin
immediate ease and strength, and take away all sicknes:
pain and anguish, but they at once go to work at tiie
foundation of the disease, which is the blood. Therlori
it will be shown, especially by those who use these Pill:
that they will so cleanse aud purify, that disease-
tliat deadly enemy—will take its flight, and the flesh oi
youth and beauty will again return, and the prospect ofa
long amt hapjiy life will cherish and brighten your days
