1929, he was the
son of the late Martin and Etta
Smith Lunsford. He was a retired
shipping clerk, having worked
for Oliver Rubber Company with
35 years of service. He was a vet
eran, having served in the United
States Army during the Korean
Conflict, and was a member of
the Trinity United Methodist
Church. Mr. Lunsford was pre
ceded in death by his wife, Ellen
Pritchett Lunsford; and a sister,
Annie Bell Lunsford.
Survivors include a son,
Orin Lunsford Jr., Hoschton;
daughters, Elaine Sylvester,
Birmingham, Ala., Diane
Griffith, Carnesville, and Darnell
Albritton, Tupelo, Miss.; a sis

was a carpenter for 35 years,
and also head of maintenance
at Tallulah Falls School for 10
years. He was a member of
Clarkesville Church of God He
was a 2nd degree black belt, hav
ing been a martial arts instructor
for 14 years. Mr. Miller was a
veteran, having served in the
United States Army during the
Cuban Missile Crisis.
Survivors in addition to his
mother, include his loving wife
of 44 years, Lessie Miller,
Clarkesville; daughter and son-
in-law, Sherry and Stephen

from Piedmont College with a
Bachelor of the Arts Degree in
Business, and was a member of
the Northside Baptist Church in
Dacula. He was a retired supervi
sor from Lockheed Corporation
with 45 years of dedicated ser
vice, and was a veteran, having
served in the United States Army
during World War II.
Survivors include his wife,
Ethel Grant Payne, Lilburn;
son and daughter-in-law. Dr.
Dan Payne and Donna Payne,
Winder; sister, Pricilla Mabry,
Hollingsworth; and a brother,
David E. Payne, Baldwin.

member of the Dunwoody United
Methodist Church and was a
member of the Sugar Hill United
Methodist Church for 25 years.
He was a veteran, having served
in the United States Navy during
World War II. Mr. Spruill was
preceded in death by a brother,
Claude Spruill.
Survivors include his lov
ing wife of 60 years, Frances
Loyd Spruill, Braselton; daugh
ter and son-in-law, Vickie and
Craig Hyde, Braselton; son and

ect manager and was instrumen

and the San Bernardino City
Hall. He was a member of the
Royston First United Methodist
Church. Mr. Tiller was a member
of the United States Merchant
Marines.

before moving to Florida. A
proud World War II veteran,
he served in the United States
Navy as a Radioman First Class
and Intercept Operator with
the Fleet Radio Unit, a part of
the Naval Security Group. He
was a member of First United
Methodist Church of Jefferson,
the American Legion, and the
U.S. Naval Cryptologic Veterans
Association. Mr. Vernon was
preceded in death by a sister,
Mildred Abbot; and son, David
R. Vernon.
Survivors include his loving

York, 77, died early Tuesday
morning, February 10, 2009,
at Northeast Georgia Medical
Center in Gainesville.
The body will be cremated
and a memorial service will be
scheduled at a later date.
