ROSCOE
PET OF THE WEEK
The Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter has pets available for adoption. This
week’s featured pet is “Roscoe, a 2-year-old Lab mix who has quickly become
a staff favorite,” a shelter staff member said. “This guy is very strong and very
loving — if you are the kind of guy who loves running or really long walks or
possibly even hunting, this may be the perfect companion for you,” a staff mem
ber said. “Roscoe gets along well with everyone, but he might be a bit much for
young children to handle especially on their own, simply because Roscoe can be
so affectionate without realizing just how strong he can be.” For more informa
tion, call 706-795-2868. The cost to adopt Roscoe is $75 and includes his neuter
ing and current vaccinations.
