•Colbert Living Waters
Holiness Church will host
a “Youth Slam” Praise and
Worship Drama Saturday, April
25, beginning at 6 p.m. Brother
Ardis Evans will be the guest
speaker. Special guests include:
Mt. Olivet Drama Team, New
Bethel Kings of Crunk, B.
Bryant and Ryan P. and River
of Life Drama Team. For more

•The Ministerial Senior
Banquet for High School
Seniors will be held Monday,
April 27, at the Madison County
High School cafeteria. “We
can use more workers so we
encourage anyone who would
like to help to call Clayton
Bryant at 706-202-7782,” orga
nizers said.
The banquet will be a nice
dinner followed by a music
program led by Daniel Dunlap.
There will be special messages
presented by Brad Boleman
and Mike Osborne. A special
gift of a Bible will be available
for each MCHS senior to take
home, organizers said. Letters
were mailed to each church
seeking participation which
includes workers and contribu
tions of $175 if possible, but all
contributions will be helpful and
needed. Contributions should
be mailed to Madison County
Ministerial Senior Banquet in

Hungry’ food ministry will
take place this Tuesday, April
28, at Hull Baptist Church,
located off Hwy 72 on Charlie
Bolton Road in Hull. Boxes of
food will be distributed to the
needy from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

homecoming Sunday, April 26.

•Full Gospel Church of
Comer will have a singing
Saturday, April 25, beginning
at 7:30 p.m. “Come and enjoy
the music or join in and sing

•The Ladies Prayer Group
meets at the Ila Restaurant at
8 a.m. every fourth Sunday.
All ladies are invited to
attend. Good food, fellowship
and devotion, organizers said.

26 is Carol Douglas.
•Historic Mt. Zion Church
of Danielsville is moving,
according to church leaders.
Their new location is in down
town Royston on Tony Jones
Street. Their first service at the
new location was planned for
Sunday, April 19. Everyone is
welcome, leaders said. For

•The United Methodist
Women of the Danielsville
United Methodist Church
will conduct a bake sale at the
Danielsville branch of the First
Madison Bank Saturday, May
9, from 9 a.m. until noon. The
bank is located across the street
from the church on General
Daniel Avenue.
•Trinity Baptist Church,
Danielsville, continues to take
registration for its Kids’ Camp,
which will be held May 24-May
28 at the Northeast Georgia
Christian Camp. Children who
have completed kindergarten
through sixth grade are eligible
to participate. The cost is $99,
which includes lodging, meals,
transportation, a T-shirt, and
any other activities. Families
with multiple children are eligi
ble for a discounted registration
fee. The deadline to register is
April 26. Call student pastor,

•The Union Baptist Church
Relay for Life team will spon
sor a golf tournament Saturday,
April 25, at Double Oaks Golf
Course. Registration starts at
8 a.m. with tee off at 8:30
a.m. The cost is $65 per play
er for this four-man, best-ball
tournament. The price cov
ers 18 holes of golf, golf cart,
great hole in one prizes, lunch,
and door prizes, organizers
said. On-course refreshments
will also be available for pur

•Gordon’s Chapel UMC
annual pork barbecue will be
held April 25, from 5-7 p.m.
at Sanford Community Center.
