November 28, 2009, at
her residence.
Bom in Jackson County,
she was the daughter of
Don and Kathy Phillips
Audulewicz. Mrs. Gaither
was preceded in death by
a brother, Zackary Victor
Audulewicz; grandpar
ents, Grady Lord Sr. and
Bill Audulewicz; mother
and father-in-law, Johnnie
Lou Tarpkins and Eurice
Gaither Sr. She was a
mama to all the boys in
her neighborhood and
her smiles and love will
surely be missed by all
who knew her, loved ones
added.
Survivors in addition to
her parents include her hus
band, Eurice Gaither Jr.;
13-year-old son who she
cherished dearly, Derrian
Rickey Gaither; grandpar
ents, Sara Audulewicz and
Addis and Geneva Gordy;
brother-in-law, Ozzie Lee

and nephews.

Jack House
GAINESVILLE - Jack
House, 87, has died.
He was the son of John
William and Clara Jo
Hill House. He attended
schools in Gainesville,
Oakwood, Candler, and
graduated
from Grayson
High School. -
He worked at
Chicopee Manufacturing
Plant for 24 years,
AT&T cable plant for 19
years, and retired from
Lucent Technologies.
He also worked with
the State Highway
Surveyors, Lockheed
Industrial Products,
and Westinghouse
Transformers. He served
in the United States Navy
for three and one-half
years during World War
II and 16 months dur
ing the Korean War. He
was a deacon at Academy
Baptist Church, a mem
ber of the Unity Masonic
Lodge #36 for over 60
years, and was a lifetime
member of the American
Legion and the VFW. Mr.
House was preceded in
death by his wife, Virginia
Louise Porter House; and
sisters, Evelyn House
Peck and Jewelle House
Reed.
Survivors include
daughters and sons-in-
law, Betty Jo and Tony
Morris, and Mary Jane
and Robert Abies; grand
children, Jonathan Abies
and wife Megan, Jared
Abies and Lauren Abies;
and a sister, Miriam House
Merritt.
Graveside services were
held Saturday, October
31, at Jackson Memorial
Park in Commerce.
Memorial services will be
held Saturday, December
5, at 11 a.m., from the
Academy Baptist Church
in Jefferson with James
Merritt and the Rev. Lee
Hunter officiating.

‘Harold’ Jackson

“Harold” Jackson, Jr.,
born August 16, 1943
in Atlanta, died Friday,
November 27, 2009.
He is survived by his
wife of 38 years, Anna
Peterson Jackson; daugh
ter and son-in-law, Cindy
andRobPhyfer, Snellville;
brothers, John Jackson,
Perry Jackson
and Wade
Jackson, all of -
Winder. Mr.
Jackson was preceded in
death by his son, Gregory
Harold Jackson; parents,
June Harold Jackson, Sr.,
and Hallie Mae Staggs
Jackson. Mr. Jackson was
a native Georgian, who
grew up in Winder. He
graduated in 1961 from
Winder-Barrow High
School, where he was
Band Captain and recipi
ent of the John Phillip
Sausa Award. He played
piano, oboe, clarinet,
saxophone, and guitar. He
was a member of Sigma
Nu Fraternity. Mr. Jackson
graduated from Emory
University in Atlanta
in 1965. After gradua
tion, Mr. Jackson enlist
ed in the Army, where
he served in Vietnam in
the 101st Airborne and
Special Forces. Harold
was a longtime member
of Mountain Park United
Methodist Church in
Stone Mountain, where
he played the oboe with
the orchestra in the late
80s and early 90s. He
became a member of
Corinth Baptist Church in
1995 through immersion
baptism. During his son’s
Greg’s lifetime, Harold
was a bowling coach with
the Special Olympics in
Gwinnett County. Harold
worked for numerous
corporations over the
years including Sandoz
Pharmaceuticals, Abbott
Pharmaceuticals and Slick
50. He also sold cars,
World Book encyclope
dia, Electrolux vacuum
cleaners and finally insur
ance, (mostly Medicare
supplements). Harold was
a truly great man and will
be sincerely missed.

Bom in Jackson County,
she was the daughter of
the late Thomas and Bert
Gailey Anglin. She was
a member of the Center
United Methodist Church
and was a retired dress
shop salesperson. Mrs.
Landon was preceded in
death by her first hus
band, Walter Thomas; and
her second husband, Roy
Landon.
Survivors include a
stepson, W.R. Landon,
Murfreesboro, Tenn.;
brother, Harold Anglin,
Fort Worth, Texas; and
nieces, Sandra Chastain,

Dalton Morris, 87, died
Tuesday, December 1,
2009, at the Habersham
County Medical Center.
Bom on December 20,
1921, in Banks County,
she was the daughter of
the late Archie and Mary
Jane Brock Dalton. She
was a member of the
Level Grove Baptist
Church and was a mem
ber of the Sunshine Band
at her church. She deliv
ered Meals on Wheels
for a number of years
and was employed with
Runway Fish House for a
number of years. She was
employed with Carwood
Manufacturing with 31
years of service and was
retired from Ethicon with
17 years of service. Mrs.
Morris was preceded in
death by her husband,
Eugene Morris; brothers,
Tommy Dalton and James
Wilton Dalton; and a sis
ter, Agnes Poole.
Survivors include sis
ters, Gladys Poole,
Baldwin, and Edna Gary,
Cornelia.

Church. Mrs. Morris was

years, Ramie T. Morris;
