merce, entered into rest Thursday, September 23, 2021.
Ms. Loggins was bom
in Winder, a daughter of
the late Carlton Floyd
Porter and the late Allene
Langford Porter. Ms. Log
gins was a graduate of the
University of Georgia, a
member of Dry Pond Unit
ed Methodist Church and
former owner of the Porter
House Restaurant.
Survivors include four
sons, Carl Loggins (Joy),
Lexington, Hope Loggins
(April), Commerce, Bradley Loggins (Samantha), Jeffer
son, and Jonathan Loggins (Marla), Maysville; sister, Jen
nie Porter Snare, Commerce; 11 grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren also survive.

Robin Garnett Lord
COMMERCE — Robin Garnett Lord, 64, Commerce,
passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 22, 2021
at St. Mary’s Hospice House, surrounded by his wife of 46
years and his three children.
Mr. Lord was bom in Commerce to the late Telford Lee
and Betty Shirley Lord. He was a member of Apple Valley
Baptist Church and was retired from The Home Depot. In
addition to his parents, Mr. Lord was preceded in death
by his brothers, Bert Lord and John Shirley Lord; and a
special uncle, Ben Shirley.
Mr. Lord is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Pace
Lord, Commerce; sons, Jason Lord, Apple Valley com
munity, and Jacob Lord (Kayle), Maysville; daughter,
Jessica Smith (Josh), Nicholson; sister, Marva Lee Lord
Townsend, Marietta; grandchildren, Cayden Lord, Riley
Pace Lord, Camryn Clair Lord, Eli Savage, Emilia Sav
age, Lanie Patrick, A.J. Patrick and Harris Lord; one neph
ew; and three nieces.

Paul Timothy Mote
MAYSVILLE — Paul Timothy Mote, 52, Maysville,
passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021.
Bom on June 15, 1969 in
Commerce, he was a son of
the late Terry Spencer and
Carolyn Edith White Mote.
Mr. Mote was a landscaper
and worked for Environ
mental Creations Landscap
ing. Paul loved his family
and was a hard worker. Paul
enjoyed football and was an
avid Georgia Bulldog fan.
He was of the Baptist faith
and a member of the Mt.
Carmel Baptist Church.
Survivors include son,
Zachary Samuel Mote, Morgantown, West Virginia; son
and daughter-in-law, Timothy Drake and Felicia Mote,
Bowersville; daughter, Taylor Renae Whitmire, Hartwell;
sister, Pam Mote Alford, Maysville; seven grandchildren,
Alexandria, Andee Mae, Bentley, Blake, Brooklyn, Wyatt
and Waylon; several nephews; special friend, Amy Fields;
and many additional relatives and friends also survive.
Graveside service: Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at
3 p.m. at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Lula, with the
Revs. Tony Goss, Kenneth Barrett and Zach Watson offi
ciating.

2021, from 1 until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Donald Theron Phillips
CARNES VILLE — Donald Theron Phillips, 75, Car-
nesville, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021,
at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton.
Mr. Phillips was bom on May 6, 1946 in Daniels-
ville, a son of the late Doyle Thomas Phillips and the
late Lidy Orene Garrett Phillips. He had been a farmer,
had worked in construction and was the pastor of Union
Ground Christian Church in Camesville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by
two sons, Dwayne Phillips and Marcus Anthony Phil
lips.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Ramsey Phillips;
daughter, Lisa Dee Phillips Carr, Camesville; sister, Pa
tricia Hill, Danielsville; grandchildren, Scotty Phillips
and Corey Can" and great-grandson, Sheldon Phillips.
Funeral service: Thursday, September 23, 2021 at
2 p.m. at Union Ground Christian Church with the
Revs. Robbie Brown and Jerome Howell officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Dorothy M. Reisinger
Dorothy M. Reisinger, 90, passed away Tuesday, Au
gust 24, 2021, completing a life of service to her Lord,
family and many friends.
She was bom on July
18, 1931 inWaverly, Ohio
to the late Selcus Daniel
and Lougusta (Mutxay)
McGuire. Dorothy was a
registered nurse, a devoted
pastor’s wife and “mom”
to many. She was always
supportive of her husband
Charles’ many endeavors.
Dorothy enjoyed reading,
good conversation and
chocolate.
She was preceded in
death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Charles Wil
lis Reisinger, in 1991; and her sisters, Allara Rapp and
Mary Nancy Picklesimer.
Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Gina
(Mark) Dietz, Tonya (W. Dean) Martin, Charles
“Chuck” (Beth) Reisinger and James “Jim” (Mary)
Brown; cherished grandchildren, Tiffany (Nathan)
Fulk, Katie (Michael) Tilden, Christopher Martin, An
drea (Ben) Klafczynski, Rebekah Martin, Anna (Seth)
Ost, Allarae (Kendall) Koutz, Joshua (Katie) Reisinger,
Jonathan Reisinger and Abbie Reisinger; great-grand
children, Brantley, triplets-Charles, Graeme and Wil
liam, Landon and Karter; and her brother, John (Patri
cia) McGuire.
A private family celebration of Dorothy’s life will be
held at a later date.

Danielsville, passed away on Sunday, September 26,
2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Smith was born in Commerce to the late Alfred
and Willie Lee Wade Gary. Mrs. Smith was a home
maker and a member of Nicholson Baptist Church.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Johnny E.
Smith, Danielsville; son, Jim Smith (Donna), Jefferson;
daughter, Linda Love (Allen), Nicholson; brother, Alvin
Gary, Nicholson; sisters, Peggy Price, Nicholson, Pat
Sellers, Commerce, and Lib Little, Maxey; five grand
children, Daniel Love, Seth Love (Catherine), Zachary
Smith (Hannah), Caleb Smith and Ethan Smith; and six
great-grandchildren, Emily, Jackson and James Love,
Kolton, Korileigh and Kasyn Smith.

COMER — Lester Taylor “Boy Blue” Smith, 87,
Comer, passed away on Saturday, September 25,2021.
Bom in Carlton, he was
a son of the late Cody
Keys Smith and Maude
Mathews Smith. Mr.
Smith was a Veteran of
the United States Navy
having served in the Ko
rean Conflict. He worked for Puritan Granite Compa
ny for over 40 years. Mr. Smith enjoyed gardening and
sharing his crop with the community; he loved fishing
and most importantly, he loved his grandchildren. He
was a member of Comer Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death
by his daughter, Kathy Tune.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Dean Smith;
daughter, Tracy English and her husband, David; sis
ter, Mauline Drew; four grandchildren, Abby, Katie
and Isaac English and Samuel Crawford; and son-in-
law, Larry Tune.

Ministers Tom Plank and Brian LaRue officiating
with burial to follow in the Thyatira Presbyterian Me
