The Christmas trees of the Method is
and Union Sunday Schools,The forme
on Christmas night, and the latter, on
the 1 htfrsday night following were cred

church in its artistic excellence lent a

handsome interior of the Baptist Church

mittee were entitled to the utmost praise
of ail who at ended. The night was
disagreeable though the interest was

good crowd.

ut the snow which fell Sunday night
and Monday was something remarkable
in the history of this seetion. Itisthe
heaviest snow in the memory of the first
settlors of this county. It averaged in

Following the snow came one of the
coldest periods of many yinrs, a ther
mometer being held m the open air raid
running ten degrees below Zero
last. U -dnesday morning. The trains
