Memorial day was observed by the young people on our side of town by rambling through the woods hunting wild flowers till night when they ajl assembled at the home of Mrs. Ginn, on Arch street, where they enjoyed the rest of the evening with a musi cals. The West Athens boys crossed bats with the East Athens Night School on the campus memorial day, but just like it always is when they go against an East Athens boy. We want to say to those that have not heard the children sing that they are the most wonder ful singers to their living today. One of the great features of their singing is the little 10 year old boy, who leads the class with great accuracy and the little girl sings the peace entitled “I Will Kdow My Mama.” Lookout for the an nouncement later.
