q. I am a female imper
sonator, and I must shave
very close in order to
look my best when I am
performing on stage. My

use depilUories. What
Would you reccontrhend?
A. I reccommend elec

ridiculous question, but
my problem is bad breath.
I brush my teeth, and use
a mouthwash and 5 min.
later, same problem.
Could ,1 possibly have
stomach problems?
A. Probably not. It would
more likely be your mouth
(gums, teeth, etc.) or even
sinus problems. I would
suggest that you see a
doctor.
Q. Why do you think that
so many Lesbians claim
to hate men with a pur

turn right around and im

“butch”, and using mas

A. They may still be mak-'

Q. Can masculine built

themselves?
A. They would need very
large amounts. Amount

| Election Primary 74 |
On August 13 you will have to decide whether to
vote in the Democratic or Republican Primary. That
choice is yours alone. The Barb does not endorse
either party, but we do urge you to vote!
The Barb has set high standards for endorsement
and recommendation of political candidates. Thus in
many races within the Democratic and Republican
primaries we are making no recommendation.
Our criterian for endorsement is that the can
didate not only be open to the elimination of anit-
gay laws and ordinances, but that he or she have a
positive platform and record of community invol
vement. A recommendation rather than an endorsement
is an indication that we feel that the candidate has
met our basic criterion., but has neither publicity or
privately indicated his or her position on the issue
of gay rights. We would add that while recommenda
tion is made without an actual statement of position
from the candidate. We feel that if the issue was
before them, considering the past record in the area
of civil rights, that they would be supportive of le
gislation enhancing the civiT liberties of gay citizens.
