Our dear editor is not always as
cool and calculating as he seemb.
He firm and final decision to
change The Barb’s name [final at
least three times in the past two
months[ to the Pheonix appears to
be as mythical as the Pheonix of
Greek fame. New logos were
designed and a promotional
campaign was ready to. roll.
Suddenly our beloved announced,
no go, no change. No one has told
me the whole story but our
associate editor, who never liked
the idea to begin with said the
Miami Pheonix was a factor. Our
bet is that the lawyer told him he
was crazy and if^anyone should
know Wonder Lez should. W.L . f
