This is the sixth year for this very successful project. The Junior League is committed to volunteer service, and we hope this program will recognize those teenagers in our community who have given their time and spirit to others. The program is open to this year's seniors (both public and private) who reside in the counties of Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach and Twiggs. Action Agency To Give Away Commodities Jim Brophy, Executive Director of the Middle Georgia Community Action Agency, Inc. announces that USDA surplus commodities will be given away Wednesday, March 9, beginning at 9 a.m. at the National Guard Armory.
