Aromatorio
joins firm as
associate
Former Ferry resident Robert
Jeffrey Aromatorio has joined the
Byron law firm of Lawrence C.
Collins as an associate. As a mem
ber of the firm, Aromatorio's areas
of practice will include real estate
law, domestic relations and munici
pal law.
Aromatorio graduated from Perry
High School in 1986 after earning
Valedictorian and STAR student
honors. He attended Mercer Univer
sity, earning a B.A. degree with a
major in English and a minor in
criminal justice. During his college
years, Aromatorio earned the Pen
field and Medusa academic scholar
ships and was admitted to member
ship in Blue Key, Sigma Tau Delta
and Order of Omega honor fraterni
ties. He was also a member and of
ficer of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and
currently remains an advisor for the
organization.
Aromatorio attended Mercer
University's Walter F. George
School of Law after getting his un
dergraduate degree. He was named to
Who's Who Among American Law
School Students and clerked at

Association and has been admitted
to numerous courts, including the
Georgia Supreme Court
He is very enthusiastic about be
ing an attorney in Byron. Aromato
rio began working with Lawrence
Collins in Oct., 1993, joining the
firm full time in Jan., 1994.
"Byron is a growing town with a
great deal of potential," said Aroma
torio.

Leona Aromatorio of Perry, Ga.

from Perry and Houston County.
When the localizer was ap
proved, the state agreed to provide
75 percent of the funding of the
$285,000 project, with the other 25
percent ($70,000-$75,000) coming
from local sources. Houser noted
that Houston County has provided
$20,000 in funding and $13,000 in
work for the project, leaving ap
proximately $40,000 for the author
ity to raise.
"Don't worry about it," said
Houser. "If you haven’t got it, you
can’t pay it"
"We walked out on this thing in
faith (building the localizer),” said
Lewis, "and we are going to wind
up on faith."

She was proud of her home and
fond of her neighbors. She was in
terested in many things. She was a
timid person about speaking in
public, but she would write beauti
ful papers for others to present. She
was an honorary member of the
Macon Writer's Club, was an au
thor (Hentz of Things Not Seen),
and wrote the history of the Sorosis
Club and Perry United Methodist
Church, of which she was a mem
ber.
She was also a member of the
General Daniel Stewart Chapter,
Daughters of the American
Revolution.
She was a friend of the late Joseph
Cotton, the actor, and had known
him when she lived in Florida.
She and Marion had one son,
Hentz, a likeable, intelligent young
man, who suffered a diving accident
just as he was graduating from
Perry High School
Although paralyzed from the neck
down, he was a brave person who
stayed active in church, college and
working at his dad's office. He was
scheduled to be a counselor at a Boy
Scout Camp when his life was
taken.
Harriett's bode, Hentz of Things
Not Seen, was about the valiant
struggle Hentz underwent in his
fight to live, his faith and that of
his parents.
Harriett's sister, Julia Bolin, was
the wife of the Lt. Governor of
Arizona.
Harriett's survivors are: Wesley
Bolin of Texarkana, Tx., Bill Bolin
and Tom Bolin, both of Phoenix,
Ariz., Ned Hentz of Dover, Mass.,
and Carrie Hentz-Ronga of
Montclair, NJ.

chapters of Phi Theta Kappa, the
international student honors
society.
The honor came during Phi
Theta Kappa's annual Georgia
Regional Convention in Athens
