Andersonville is site of collectibles fair
The quaint Civil War Village of
Andersonville in Southwest
Georgia with its 7-acre Pioneer
Farm complete with log cabin, log
bams, a resident blacksmith and
Pioneer woodwright, its 8 Antique
and Craft Shops, and its two Civil
War museums, is a good place to
visit any day of the year, but the
last weekend in May and the first
weekend in October are the most

Zsa Zsa Gabor certainly takes the
cake for me.
After spending a couple of days
with this lady a few years ago, I
must admit that I still cringe when
I see her on television. She is the
perfect example of a “wanna-be”
that thinks she is much, much
more important than she really is .
. .she is about as self-absorbed as
they come and really and truly
thinks people should bow to her
every want and command . . .not a
humble person at all.
I don’t mean to insinuate that
she was a monster every second I
was with her; she was really sweet
when on camera or in front of a
crowd.
No kidding, at her first press
conference which I organized, she
told everyone in the Nashville area
that she never slapped that police
man and that, although, he cussed
her up one side and down the other,
that she never uttered a bad word to
him or anyone else; she is a lady,
she said, and curse words just aren’t
a part of her vocabulary.
Bull s#&@! One hour later that
lady was using curse words I had
never heard come out of the mouths
of even the roughest of cowboys.
Kind of reminded me of the abu
sive husbands you hear about—
sweet and syrupy on the outside and
a real demon on the inside. That
poor policeman.
By the end of her visit, I was
completely spent. And, very happy
to see her go; which, I might add,
is the only reason I smiled when
she hugged me, kissed me on the
check and said “Goodbye Dahling;
lets do keep in touch”.
