Aglow
to meet...
Daughter of Perry
couple will give
testimony Saturday
Kendall Williford, the daughter
of Bill and Denise Williford of
Perry, will be the guest speaker at
the Saturday, June 18, meeting of
the Women’s Aglow Fellowship.
The gathering will begin with a
coffee at 9 a.m., with the actual
meeting kicking off at 9:30 a.m. at
the Holiday Inn at 2024 Watson
Boulevard, Warner Robins.
A buffet luncheon will follow
the meeting at a cost of $6.75 per
person. Organizers request that
interested persons call 922-9621 for
reservations.
A 1988 graduate of Northside
High School and a former home
coming queen, guest speaker Willi
ford says she personally knows the
power of God to change a life as
beginning at the young age of 13,
she, herself, struggled with serious
alcohol and drug addiction
problems.
These problems followed her
throughout her school years and
didn’t diminish until, while study
ing music and art in Savannah, she
was led to begin seeking God. Fi
nally, at the point of desperation,
she says she sought Jesus Christ as
her only source of help and was not
disappointed.
Today, Williford lives a life of
joy and freedom and has given her
life to serve in full time ministry.
Next month she will marry
David Wartrous of Mystic,
Connecticut, and together they plan
to travel and minister through
music and the word of God.
Currently, she attends Rhema
Bible Training Center in Broken
Arrow, Oklahoma.
Women’s Aglow is an interde
nominational organization of Chris
tian women whose mission state
ment is: ‘To lead women to Jesus
Christ and provide opportunity for
Christian Women to grow in their
faith and minister to others”.
Saturday’s meeting is open to
the public and youth groups are en
couraged to attend.
