Davis Company, Inc., wants to take this opportunity to thank all of those people and
organizations that have helped Perry, Houston County, and the surrounding
communities cope with the devastating flooding earlier this month. While we, as a
company, are very thankfid that we did not have major property damage at our
businesses, and none of our employees were injured, we also realize the terrible
impact that the floods did have on some people. It's at times like these when the true
Southern spirit comes out, and over the past two weeks, we've seen many examples of
that, from individual volunteers willing to give of their time and talent, to the many
public, private, and community service organizations that rose to the challenge.
Davis Company is pleased to recognize several of those that have played, and in many
cases continue, an important role in flood relief efforts:
CHIEF GARY HAMLIN and the PERRY FIRE DEPARTMENT... CHIEF FRANK
SIMONS and the PERRYPOUCE DEPARTMENT...HUGH SHARP and the
PERRY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.. . HAROLD DEAL and the PERRY

your professionalism and dedication during the dangerous and confusing events
brought on by the flood.
