Galleria Mall gets tentative
opening date for ‘94; Nov. 9

The Galleria Mall, located in
Warner Robins, is almost
completed and is expected to open
Nov. 9, according to developer Sam
Zamias.
Several department stores and an
assortment of other stores and
shops will be anchored at the new
site, Zamias told Perry Kiwanis
Club members recenUy.
While some stores will be
coming from Macon and Houston
malls, some will be first time
tenants. Included is a spacious
Sears store, Belk’s, Goody’s and
J.C. Penney’s.
The Galleria will have a total of
670,000 square feet under the roof
facility and a large parking lot and
the Galleria will be open every

Commodity Conference In Griffin at the Experiment
Station. Farm Bureau commodity advisory committee
leaders gathered to discuss and formulate policies

The developer said that about
S4O million is being spent, adding
that by the third year of operation,
about 2000-2200 employees will be
on board.
Mr. Zamias said, “We want to
be a part of the community. We
answer our phones, so if you have
questions or comments for us, give
us a call.”
The Zamias family, headed by
George Zamias of Johnstown,
Pennsylvania, are developers of the
large shopping complex.

Oreskovich, an official with the
developer, was also a luncheon
guest.
