Diet may be a key in helping
you kick the smoking habit
Thought some of you might be
interested in this piece of
information I found.
When you quit smoking benefits
begin immediately. Suppose you
quit smoking right now, right this
instant. Surprisingly, your health
would begin to improve almost at
once, and soon you’d be able to
once again smell the flowers.
•In nine hours, your blood
pressure, if elevated, would begin to
return to normal.
•Within 12 hours, levels of
nicotine and carbon monoxide in
your blood would fall, and your
heart and lungs would begin to
heal.
•Within just a few days, you’d
regain your lost senses of taste and
smell, breathe more easily and feel
stronger, clear headed and more
energetic.
I know personally that quitting
cigarettes is easier said than done.
The success rate is less than 25
percent. Nicotine is a powerful
drug. It can give you a life, calm
you down, keep you company when
you’re bored, comfort you in times
of stress.

possible reason that quitting is so
difficult could be nicotine’s ability
