Page 2B Wednesday, September 14,1994, Houston Times-Journal Announcements : Johanna Elizabeth Compton and James Lee Wessells Compton, Wessells announce wedding Johanna Elizabeth Compton and James Lee Wessells have announced their plans to be married on Saturday, Nov. 5, 1994 in the North Macon Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. Johanna is the daughter of John and Joyce Compton of Perry and is the granddaughter of Cecil and Dorothea Compton of Waverly, N.Y. and the late Bud and Mildred Dauwe of Wichila, Kansas. She attended Covenant College in Chattanooga, Tn. where she received her bachelor’s in Biology. James is the son of Robert and Ann Wessells of Juliette and is the grandson of the late Samvel Winifred Wessells Jr. of Peekskill, N.Y. and the late William and Olive Arkins of Montrose, N.Y. He graduated from the Hendrick- Hudson High School in Montrose, N.Y. and attended die University of Alabama and Georgia College where he received his bachelor’s degree in Business. James is employed with Alco Capital Resources of Macon. for help from the community to supply non-perishable foods. The need for the next weeks is milk, canned or dry; canned meats; and canned vegetables. Please bring your donations to St. Christopher’s during the hours the center is open; take the food to your own church, or call Alvalyn Pope, 987-0219, Aileen Harden, 987-3434, or Emily Montgomery at 987-2368 for pick-up or other information. 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Perry Kroger a A Watson, Chamlee will wed Joan and Earl Chamlee announce the engagement of their daughter LaDonna Lynn Chamlee to Lieutenant Thomas James Watson of Corpus Christi, Texas, son of Helen and James Watson of Macon. The wedding is planned for October 1, 1994 at Rehoboth Baptist Church. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Louise the late Eugene Lassetter, Louise Chamlee, and the late James Chamlee. A graduate of Perry High School, she is pursuiing a degree in accounting at Macon College, where she is on the Dean’s List. She is scheduled to complete the accounting degree at Texas A&M. The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Helen and Walter Frederick and the late Margaret and James Watson, all of New York. A graduate of Smithtown High School East in New York, he received a degree in marine/nuclear engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College, where he was a member of the Circle K Club, the Propeller Club, and the Weight Club. He is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at Texas A&M. He is a night instructor at Training Squadron Twenty-Seven in Corpus Christi.
