Miss Shepley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Shepley of Perry. Mr. Richards’ parents are Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Richards of Naples, Florida. The Reverend Him Shipley of Perry and the Reverend Parker Agnew of New Albany, Miss., performed the double ring ceremony in the presence of relatives and friends. The wedding music was presented by Mrs. Deborah Walker, pianist; Mrs. Mary Hamilton, organist; Mrs. Karan Johnson, floutist; and Mr. Rick Searle on the trumpet. Miss Heather Caines sang “How Beautiful” and “The Wedding Song”. Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Candell sang “Household of Faith”. The programs were given out by Adam Gray, Seth Gamblin and Brett Gamblin. The candles were lighted by Mr. Tracy Malone. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a candlelight gown of silk shantung. The bridal bouquet was a cascade of Casablanca lilies, stephanotis, and ivy. The attendants wore floor length suits of purple silk shantung. They carried sheaths of purple Dutch Iris and yellow lilies. Miss Julie Bell, of Saint Louis. Missouri, was the Maid of Honor. The bridesmaids were Jenny Bragdon, Greenville, S.C.; Headier Caines of Ringgold, 'King and Queen' pageant set for Oct. 15 An Autumn Queen and King Pageant will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15th at the Holiday Inn, 700 Valley Drive in Perry. The pageant will offer teen age divisions, Girls, birth and up, or Boys, birth to seven years. The pageant is open to all Georgia residents and winners may go on to represent their title at the Americas United Miss and Master National Finals. Immediately following the ceremony the bride’s parents entertained at a reception in the fellowship hall of the church. The guests were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Steve Gray and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Smith, 111. Miss Chalese Lassiter of Perry attended the bride’s book. Those serving at the reception were: Angie Bennett, Alii Campbell, Cathy Clay, Jennifer Davis, Angela Goodwin, Linda Johnson, Mary Lassiter, Sara Muse, Kimberly Peterson, Lindsey Shepley, Loryne Shepley, Mary Anne Shipley, and Anne Smith. A rehearsal picnic was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Richards of Naples, Fla. After the wedding trip to Prince Edward Island in Nova Scotia, the couple will reside in Lookout Mountain, Ga. preliminary pageant will receive the local title, crown, trophy and banner.
