Police report Incident reports from Perry (The following items are incident reports from the Perry Police Department for the period Sept. 21-Sept. 26) Dresses torn Shirley Harley, an employee of the Tog Shop, complained to police that sometime between 4 p.m. and 4:46 p.m. on Sept. 21 that someone had entered the store and cut five dresses with scissors. The clothing was valued at SSOB. Theft by taking Loretta Shirah, an employee of Fuel South, told officers that someone had left that store without paying for a gasoline purchase sometime between 5:09 p.m. and 6:32 p.m. on Sept. 21. Harassing calls Eddie Thomas, of Hwy. 1998 Hwy. 341, complained that he had received a harassing telephone call at 8:04 p.m. on Sept. 21. Thaft by taking Alfonso Joseph, of 612 Marsha Dr., complained to police that someone had taken property from his auto while at Lumpkin Shell at about 9 p.m. on Sept. 21. Pistol stolen Carolyn Odell, of 1712 Kings Chapel Rd., told police that someone had stolen a 25 caliber pistol from her residence sometime between 2 p.m. on Sept. 20 and 12:39 p.m. on Sept. 21. Suspicious persons Police were called to the area of Waffle House and Starvin' Marvin on Sam Nunn Blvd. at about 7:40 p.m. Sept. 21 in reference to two suspicious persons in the area. Officers questions two people at the scene, but made no arrests. Domestic violence Hazel Daughtry, of 715 Mason 'Terrace Rd., told police that she was th£ victim of a domestic argument that occured at her residence sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 2:54 a.m. on Sept. 22. Entering auto Daniel Svabado, # of 817 Oakridge Dr., told police that someone had entered his auto with the intent to steal items sometime between 8 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 8:04 p.m. Sept. 22. Criminal trespassing Harvey Middleton, of 1308 Swift St., told police that someone had entered his yard without permission sometime around 5:12 p.m. on Sept. 22. Lawnmower stolen Jimmy Copeland, of 1018 Bonner Dr., complained to police that someone had stolen a lawnmower from his residence around 4:50 p.m. on Sept. 22. Person arrested Police arrested Barry L. Kaigler, of 1506 State Ave. Ext., after they were called to a Main St. location in reference to a battery and criminal trespass incident at 1:30 a.m. on Sept. 23. Upon arrival, officers noticed a smell of alcohol on the man. Tests were administered, and the man tested positive. After later being trannsferred to the Houston County Jail, the man tested negative and was released with no charges. Auto damaged Barry L. Kaigler, of 1506 State Ave. Ext., complained to police that someone had damaged his car while parked at his residence between 11:55 p.m. Sept. 22 and 1:05 a.m. Sept. 23. Damage was estimated at SIOO. Harassing calls Patricia Lynch, an employee of the Georgia Agricenter, told police that staff members had been receiving harassing telephone calls at that location between Sept. 20 and Sept. 23. Cash stolen Jeff Rowland, an Adams Oil Co. employee, told police that while he was away from a cash drawer at *hat business someone took an undetermined amount of cash. The incident occured sometime around 9:15 p.m. on Sept. 23. Wallet returned Joe Oglesby recovered a wallet on Sept. 23 and turned the contents over to the department. The owner was notified and claimed the contents. DUI arrest Kenneth Thompson, of a Macon address, was arrested by police Sept. 23 at 8:51 p.m. after reports of an intoxicated driver in the Washington St. area. Police stopped Thompson and the man was charged with Driving Under the Influence, possession of marijuana, and having alcohol in an open container. Forged check An employee of Kroger complained to police that someone had entered that store and attempted to cash a stolen check.
