Johnson of Perry, became the bride of Mr. H. Christopher Small, IV, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. Small, Jr. also of Perry. The nuptials took place on May 14th at 7 p.m. in the evening at the Perry United Methodist Church. The candlelight ceremony was performed by the couple's Pastor, Dr. Marcus V. Tripp. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a traditional white gown with a sweetheart neckline, off the shoulder sleeves adorned with toule and pearl rosetts. The fitted bodice was embroidered with lace, pearls and sequins, which fell into a princess waist with a full skirt of toule netting. The back was accented with a large bow that connected the cathedral length train, also of toule. Her headpiece was a fitting crown of pearls with a chapel length veil. She carried a cascade of fresh Casablanca lilies, white roses, stephanotis and variegated ivy. The maid of honor was Miss Kelley Bennett of Atlanta. Bridesmaids were: Miss Julie Bishop and Miss Kim Forbes of Perry, Miss Cindy Horton of Marietta, Miss Marti Jordan of Memphis, Tenn., and Miss Alissa Storey of Columbia, S.C. The junior bridesmaids were: Miss Mandy Burgess and Miss Karen Walker, both of Charleston. S.C. and cousins of the bride. Miss Kaeleigh Heath of Macon was the flower girl. The best man was Mr. Brad Bolton of Jonesboro, Ark. Ushers were: Mr Tom Arnett of New Britain. Conn., Mr. John Bishop, Mr. Lance Johnson, brother of the bride. Mr M;irk King. Mr Brandyn Small, brother of the groom, all of Perry, and Mr Shannon Smith of Marietta. Mrs Deborah Walker was the pianist while Mrs. Nancy Joiner played the organ and Mr Rick Kimrnel accompanied on the trumpet Mrs Sara Muse and Mr Tommy Storey sang a duet and Mr Storey sang two additional solos as part of the ceremony. After the ceremony, the couple was honored by the brides parents with a moonlit, outdoor reception at their home The guests enjoyed many hours of music and dancing from many musical eras. The couple was serenaded by Brandyn Small, brother of the groom Servers at the reception included friends of the bride. Miss Jana Bohanan, Miss Jennifer Light, Miss Regina lliers. and Miss Laurie Perfect, and cousins of the bride. Mis> Kirkley Lasseter. Miss Jenny Ann Johnson. Miss Madeline Johnson and Miss Natalie Johnson. Miss Michell Dickson. Miss Courtney Grimm, Miss Ashley Gray and Miss Jamie Johnson passed out baskets ot flower petals to be thrown at the couple as they left the reception. The couple enjoyed a wedding trip to the C’bonney Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, before returning to Perry where they me currently residing. The groom’s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner for the family and bridal party at the Officer's Club the evening of May 13th. A brunch was given for the couple on the morning of the wedding.
