Volunteers Darlene Gill and Bonnie Nguyen, both parents of regular storytime patrons, will present “Little Red Riding Hood” and “Claude, The Dog - A Christmas Story” at 10 a.m. both days and at 3:45 p.m on Tuesdays. Local child care and preschool centers are invited to bring their groups also. The program is suitable for children two years and up. This is the second show Mrs. Gill and Mrs. Nguyen have presented as the library’s newest puppet show volunteers. This volunteer project began a few years ago when professional puppeteer Chuck Meese, who recently pei formed here with his puppets, presented a work shop for aspiring puppeteers. Other patrons who have performed this service in the past few years are Mrs. Pam Pierce, Mrs. Jackie Amico, Mrs. Julia Rardin. and Mrs. Margeen Wixxly. Planning, rehearsing and presenting puppet plays, while a rewarding experience, takes energy, time and commitment. The library is grateful for the contri initions volunteers make to the pro grams which enrich the lives of our community’s children. Ms Becky Yeatman, children's specialist, is always eager to hear from others who might be interested m giving time and talent for the li brary’s children’s services. Another volunteer program currently in full swing is the “After School Read Alouds”, carried out by Miss Lora Stuckey and Mrs. Coleen Mathis Lor more information about die pro gram or volunteering, call Ms.Yeatman at ‘>B7-3050. ■mUBSm fig® ■ Tfc: Ht^'* k ; - * ‘ MWff^™ Library hosts puppet shows Two puppet shows were Perry Library recently Nguyen and Darlene Gill. r^lo\ \ o^TULIP RINGS NOW $3095 •** Were *79» EACH TULIP WITH f™?
