Dear Editor:
Project Agape Love (P.A.L.) and Visions of Sugarplums, a part of
Christmas at the Crossroads sponsored by the Perry Area Chamber of
Commerce and the City of Perry, are working together to provide a joyous
Christmas for the less fortunate families in the south Houston County area.
The public is invited to share in this project by donating money, gifts or
food for distribution to these families.
Financial gifts may be sent to PAL, 1600 Main St., Perry, GA 31069.
Checks should be made payable to PAL. There is a need for children's gifts
for both boys and girls from three months to 12 years old. These should not
be gift-wrapped. Non-perishable food items may also be donated.
If you have any questions or need to arrange for pick-up of your gift or
food contributions, contact Alvalyn Pope (987-0219) Aileen Hardeen (987-
3434), Claudia Luckey (987-4381) or call the Perry chamber (987-1234).
Volunteers will pick up your donations before December 17. PAL will then
distribute them to local families.
Sincerely,
Alvalyn H. Pope
P.A.L. Team Member
