Clean carpets reduce pollution in homes
Special to the T-J
Indoor air quality issues affect
many people. It is estimated that
between 500,000 and one million
people visit hospitals each year
because of allergic reactions to bio
pollutants such as fungi, dust mite
feces and bacteria.
Carpet traps soil and particles
which can be harmful to some
people if not renewed on a regular
basis. That means regular, thorough
extraction cleaning of carpet in
homes and commercial buildings.
