FARMERS FURNITURE 1010 Main Street • Perry • 987-3058 Miss Dogwood pageants this week Five Miss Dogwoods will be crowned by Friday night as pageants for Little Miss, Junior Miss, Preteen Miss, Teen Miss and Miss Dogwood will kick off the 1995 Dogwood Festival. Approximately 70 Houston County young ladies are entered in the five pageants. The Teen Miss and Miss Dogwood pageants will be held Friday at the high school, also starting at 7:30 p.m. Contestants from the 11th grade through age 23 will be seeking the two titles. Heather Wilder, 1994 Miss Dogwood, will crown her successor. Miss Wilder is also the reigning State Miss Georgia Peach Queen. She is the daughter of Bill Wilder <uid Joyce Wilder. 3-PIECE SQO DINETTE SET +JZJ Wednesday. March 15,1995. Houston Times-Journal Mistress of ceremonies will be Kim Hilliard Sharpe, a winner of many beauty pageant titles and former fourth runner-up in the Miss Georgia pageant. She is a pre-kindergarten teacher at Momingside Elementary School and played the role of Maria in the Perry Players’ production of the "Sound of Music."
