maintaining our computer mapping
system. All city departments have
benefitted from the maps and draw
ings produced by the system. We
have among others utility, zoning,
right-of-way and property lines in
the system and can produce maps
of any scale.
Recently the Houston County
tax assessors office and the city of
Warner Robins acquired the same
mapping software and database
contained in our system. Detail
maps have since been generated of
all of Houston County and Warner
Robins.
The three governments have
agreed to maintain and update each
respective mapping system and
share the data as needed by elec
tronic transfer. This is quite an
achievement and only possible
within the past two or three years,
since computer hardware and soft
ware prices have dropped to an
affordable level.
We are very fortunate here in
Perry to have an excellent utilities
infrastructure and intend to contin
ue to maintain and expand the sys
tem to meet the needs of the com
munity for years to come.

To have these kinds of men to be
our law makers we will have to have
God-fearing voters. If there ever has
been a time when all of us, both men
and women, should repent, it is now.
