The conduct that gave rise to the
seizure of the above described property
is as follows:
On or about September 18, 1996,
the Houston County Sheriff's Department,
observed harvesting of a quantity of mar
ijuana in Houston County, Georgia
Approximately three hundred and twenty
nine (329) plants were subsequently col
lected from the area, and an additional
quantity was seized, along with the listed
property, from the listed residence
This property is forfeitable under
O.C G.A 16-1349(d)(2),(3), (4), and (6)
in that it was found in close proximity to
the contraband, represents proceeds from
illegal drug activity, and was possessed,
used, or available for use to facilitate a
violation of the Georgia Controlled
Substances Act
You are hereby notified that you must
file an answer to the forfeiture action
which complies with O.C.G.A. 16-13-
49lo), within thirty (30) days of the date
