In recognizing their concern about power costs, Flint works with
commercial and industrial customers to identify ways of managing
electricity use without interfering with business operations. Such
services include HVAC, Lighting, Electro-Technologies, Load
Management, and Power Quality.
Flint’s tradition of good service has persuaded many industries to
choose to locate or expand their operations in Flint’s service area.
Flint’s service is strengthened by its relationship with Oglethorpe
Power Corporation, the nation’s largest generation and transmission
cooperative. Through this $5.3 billion corporation, Flint has access
to a power generation mix of nuclear, coalfired and hydroelectric
plants that guarantees reliable and efficient power well into the
future.
