Dorsetts planning
In memory of their son, Rad,
who would be a Perry High
School senior this year, Joan and
Ralph Dorsett are coordinating a
trip for Perry graduating seniors
on May 3 to Grad Nite ’97 at Walt
Disney World.
The Dorsetts hosted a meeting
for parents Jan. 30, at the Perry
Public Library. Also on hand was
Bobby Bradford, owner of Leisure
Travel & Bus Lines, who is in
charge of transportation for the
class trip.
Seniors interested in the trip
can obtain additional information
at Perry High on how to contact
the Dorsetts.

Members of the Perry Business
Women’s Club will meet Feb. 13,
7 p.m. at the Ochlahatchee Club
House. A Tupperware party is
planned. Visitors are welcomed.

held at First Baptist Church at 7

Association’s Annual
Convention will be held Feb. 6-8
at the Macon Centreplex. All
GCA members and visitors are
welcome.
The Georgia Cattlemen’s
Association is the only statewide
organization for cattlemen. The
mission of the Georgia
Cattlemen’s Association is to
unite cattle producers to advance
the economic, political and social
interests of Georgia’s cattle
industry.

Perry Area Chamber of
Commerce experienced a well
planned program and barbecue
meal in the festively decorated
Georgia Living Center at the
Georgia Fairgrounds and
Agricenter Jan. 28.
The event was in celebration
of the annual meeting. Perryan
Deborah Roberts, who appears
on ABC-TV 20/20, was guest
speaker. Her parents were guests
at the speaker’s table. Roberts
spoke of the values she learned in
Perry that have gone with her
throughout her very successful
career.
