Larry Hamby started a lifetime tradition of ser
vice and quality when he first opened "Hamby
Used Cars" in 1965 in his hometown of Lavonia,
Georgia. In 1975, "Hamby Used Cars" moved to
two locations in Warner Robins, Georgia. During
his six years in Warner Robins, Hamby built a rep
utation for providing top quality cars at afford
able prices. In 1981, Hamby moved to Perry, GA.
where he acquired Hamby Chevrolet. Hamby
expected his new car business in January, 1992 by
acquiring Pontiac, Buick, and GMC trucks. In
September of that same year, Hamby added
Chryslter-Plymouth-Dodge-Jeep franchise.
Over the last 16 years, Hamby dealerships
have acquired the highest ratings in new cus
tomer satisfaction for sales and service. With both
of his new car stores filled with new and factory
programmed cars, Hamby felt the need to pro
vide the market with a good selection of pre
owned automobiles. "Hamby Used Cars" now
returns to showcase the finest selection of low
mileage pre-owned automobiles that Middle
Georgia has to offer.
"We now feel that we can offer something to
everyone in the automobile marketplace," said
Larry Hamby. "Our goal is to provide a car or truck
that can be warranted with a Chrysler or GM ser
vice contract to protect our customer investment."
Whether it's anew or pre-owned car, Larry
Hamby has shown once again that you can always
depend on the Hamby name for quality and
assurance.
