child born October 31, 1996 in Houston
County, Georgia. Last Known Address:
Route I Box 10 or 210 Country Road,
Bonaire, Houston County, Georgia.
You are hereby notified that a Petition
to Terminate Your Parental Rights has
been filed in the above-styled Court by
The Open Door Adoption Agency. Inc.,
through its attorneys. The mother of this
child has surrendered her rights in the
child to the Petitioner, The Open Door
Adoption Agency, Inc.. and the Petitioner
intends to place the child for adoption.
Pursuant to Official Code of Georgia
Annotated Section 19-8-10, 19-8-1 1,19-
8 12, and other pertinent laws, you are
advised that you will lose all parental
lights to this child, and you will neither
receive notice of nor be entitled to object
to the adoption of the child, unless, with
in thirty (301 days of your receipt of this
notice, you file a Petition to Legitimate the
Child, pursuant to O.C.G.A. 19-7-22 and
give notice in writing of the filing of such
Petition to this Court and to the attorney
listed below. You must prosecute the
action to final judgement. You are further
advised that if you intend to object to this
Petition, you must file an Answer to the
Petition to Terminate Parental Rights with
in thirty (30) days in the Superior Court of
Thomas County, Georgia. You are urged
to immediately retain legal counsel to
assist you in this matter.

Hamlin praises new fire engine, city fire support

Perry Fire Chief Gary Hamlin
told members of the Perry
Kiwanis Club recently that he has
served 17 years as chief and 22
years with the department.
“Thanks to the mayor and
council for always supporting the
firemen,” Hamlin said. “Perry
firemen work in a team concept,
all working together.
“It takes a team of good people
working with me, or I couldn’t get
the job done,” Hamlin continued.

Hamlin thanked Kiwanians for

and told them about anew thermal
imaging camera which will enable
firemen to see better through
smoke to rescue fire victims.
Hamlin expects a better city
fire class rating because of the
new equipment.
