William Robert Hardage

Robert Hardage, 68, who died
April 14, 1997, were held April 16
at the Chapel of Watson-Mathews
Funeral Home with burial in
Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens
Cemetery with the Rev. Lynn
Hurley officiating.
Bom in Macon County, he was
the son of Charlie and Ruth
Simmons Hardage. He retired
from the Army after 20 eyars of
service. He served in the Korea
and Vietnam conflicts. For the past
six years, he was an inventory

Perry Civitans to host district meeting

Members of South Georgia
Civitans, of Civitan International
will hold their spring meeting at
the Perry Holiday Inn on April 26
and 27 will the featured speaker to
be the newly elected International
Civitan President-Elect.
Jack Bradford from
Birmingham, Ala., will speak to
the assembled Civitans following
the luncheon on Sunday. He was
elected at last year’s international
convention.
Perry Hospital volunteers recognized for service
Honors came during
banquet held April 15

Houston Medical center and 30
volunteers from Perry Hospital
were honored for their hours of
service at Houston Healthcare
Complex’s Annual Volunteer
Awards and Recognition
Banquet April 15.
The Banquet was held at Flint
Electric on Ga. 96.
Dr. Skip McDannald, CEO,
Houston Healthcare Complex,
gave the opening address and
Nadine Weems, Administrate,
Perry Hospital, Art Christie,
Administrator, Houston Medical
Center and Bill Mosteller,
Assistant Administrator,
Houston Medical Center, pre
sented the awards to honorees.

New Club Building Seminar on
Saturday, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Stephens is the director of growth,
Civitan International.
Also on Saturday, the District
Executive Board will hold its
meeting under the direction of
Gov. Millier. This meeting will
begin at 4:00 p.m.
The regular meeting for all
Civitans will begin Sunday morn
ing at 9:00 a.m. with lunch at

Ernest Julian O’Neal, who died
April 19, 1997, were held April 21
