Biles, Pelot exchange vows at
Perry United Methodist Church
Kristi Biles and Curry Pelot
were united in marriage June
14, 1997.
The ceremony was held at
Perry United Methodist
Church with the Rev. Tim
Millwood officiating.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ellis Biles
of Perry.
The groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. James Pelot Sr. of
Decatur.
Wedding music was provid
ed by Deborah Walker, Grace
Daniel and Tommy Storey.
The bridal gown was a full
gown of raw silk in off-white
with fitted beaded bodice and
pearl trim around the neck and
sleeves. Chapel length train
with small bows going down
from waist to end of train were
part of the ensemble.
The bridal veil was a half
headband of raw silk and waist
length tulle with a blusher. The
bridal bouquet was a white
cascade of fresh flowers
including roses, lillies,
stephanotis and Queen Anne’s
Lace.
Matron of honor was Angela
Scarborough Abney of Atlanta.
Bridesmaids were Amy
Burnett, Jena Pinder, Cindy
Shark and Kathe Nale, all of
Atlanta.
Best man was James Pelot
of Decatur.
Ushers were Sean Cavin of
Jonesboro, Eric Ellis Biles of
Perry, Lonny Pelot of Decatur
and Michael Gabbett of Long
Beach, Calif.
A reception was held at the
Officers’ Club at Robins Air
Force Base hosted by Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Ellis Biles. Servers
were Lisa Lovern and Jennifer
Moreton.
A rehearsal dinner took
place at the New Perry Hotel.
It was hosted by Mr. and Mrs.
James C. Pelot Sr.
After a cruise to the south
ern Carribean, the newleyweds
will reside in Lawrenceville.

Huffs celebrate 50tn anniversary
with dinner in Marshallville
Harold and Harriett Huff cele
brated their 50th wedding
anniversary June 14, 1997 at
Tally’s in Marshallville. The
event was hosted by their chil
dren.
The Huff’s were married on
June 12, 1947, in Macon.
They have lived in Perry all of
their lives. Mr. Huff is retired
from G. Heileman Brewing

will be held Aug. 5 from 9 a.m.

Recreation 1060 Keith Drive.
The course is free of charge
and is open to ages 12 to adults.
