September wedding vows
Mr. and Mrs. Leon Colquitt
Watson of Perry announce the
engagement and upcoming wed
ding of their daughter. Lane
Cunningham Watson, to James
Mitchell Hunter, son of Mrs. Gary
Kenneth Hunter and the late Gary
Kenneth Hunter of Perry.
The wedding ceremony is
scheduled to be held Sept. 6, 1997
at 6:30 p.m. at Perry United
Methodist Church.
The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin
Gibbs Lane of Hiawassee and the
late Mr. and Mrs. Leon Colquitt
Watson Sr. She is a 1992 graduate
of The Westfield Schools and
graduated cum laude from the
University of Georgia in 1996.
She was member of Alpha
Omicron Phi Sorority, University
Round Table, Kappa Delta
Epsilon Education Honor Society.
She attends Valdosta State

son of James Marshall Hightower
and the late Mrs. James Marshall
Hightower of Bainbridge,
Mitchell William Hunter and the
late Mrs. Mitchell William Hunter
of Stockbridge.
He graduated from the
University of Georgia in 1993
with a degree in business adminis
tration in finance. He was a mem
ber of Lambda Chi Alpha
Fraternity and is employed as
commercial real estate banking
officer with Wachovia Bank,
N.A.. Macon.

ried Aug. 2, 19971 at 2 p.m. at
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in
Birmingham Ala., with the Rev.
Russell Levenson officiating.
A reception followed at the
Birmingham Botanical
Gardens.
The bride is the daughter of
the Rev. and Mrs. Robert
Michael Montiel of
Bloomington, 111. The groom is
the son of Dr. and Mrs. J. R.
Arnall of Perry.
The bride was given in mar
riage by her father. Maid of
honor was Ashley Lane Clarke,
sister of the bride, of Fairhope,
Ala. Bridesmaids were Mary
Michael Montiel, sister of the
bride, of Bloomington, Hi; Ann
