The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul
Wilder and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon
R Turner, all of Moultrie. She is
a 1993 graduate of Colquitt
County High School.
She attended Abraham
Baldwin Agricultural College and
will graduate from Valdosta State
University in June with a bache
lor of business administration in
marketing. She is employed by
Summer Odyssey classes offered at Museum

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE A series of fun
filled Summer Odysseys classes for children in
grades K-6 will be offered at the Museum of Aviation
during June and July.
Starting June 8, classes will be held each Monday,
Wednesday and Friday morning (except July 3).
For a nominal charge between $3-$5, children can
participate in hands-on classes related to Native
Americans, the planets, flying plastic foam jets or
archaeology.
Reservations must be made with advance pay

Malcolm Rumph graduates from U.S. Naval Academy

Ensign Malcolm Joseph Rumph
of Marshallville, graduated May
22 from the U.S. Naval Academy
in Annapolis with a degree in
ocean engineering.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Wilbur C. Rumph. and his
younger brother, Lewis, all of
Marshallville, attended the event,
as did his older brother. Lt. Sam.
C. Rumph, and other family
members and friends.
He is experiencing a month's
leave and will return to Annapolis
for temporary duty at the end of
his leave. Rumph has been
accepted into Naval Flight School
in Pensacola. Fla., where he will
report after the first of next year
for three years of flight training
Corey D. Lumpkin earns
master ’s degree

Lumpkin of Perry graduated in
May 1998 with a master’s degree
in Public Health Administration
and Policy from Morehouse
School of Medicine in Atlanta.
He also holds a Bachelor of
Arts degree in science with a con
centration in mathematics from
Morehouse College.
He was selected to be in the
first class in Public Health
Administration and Policy that
was offered by Morehouse
School of Medicine
Lumpkin has been employed
by Morehouse College for several
years as a counselor and has,
worked with the recruiting ol stu
dents throughout Georgia and the
Southeast. He is also a Counselor
of Student Affairs at the Atlanta
School of Arts.
He has recently been awarded
a fellowship in Public Health
which he will serve during the
