might provide some name recognition, but that's all
Have you ever seen anyone stopped at a political
sign, reading it? Have you sever seen anyone reading
a newspaper? I surely hope so because lots of folk
sure do spend money paying for the newspapers.
• Thirdly, forty percent of Georgians rely on
newspapers for information on political candidates
Television is second with 34 percent and direct mail
ranks about five percent.
In rural areas, where most Trib Publications
papers are located: I would estimate 60-70 percent of
the residents rely on newspapers for information on
local political candidates.
• Fourthly, almost 63 percent of registered voteis

The license record is part of the

receive when purchasing a

If you want to get an early
crack at the deer, head over to
Oaky Woods on the Ocmulgec
WMA for their adult-child hunt
which continues through Oct 24.
Both the adult and the child can
carry a firearm and hunt, but the
child must he under the age ol 16
and have completed the Hunter
Safety Course.
The child must he under the
direct supervision of the adult to
hunt during this special time
The WRD Rule says the adult
must he “within sight or heating"
of the child, hut in my mind (he

you didn’t want anyone to know about, would you
want it published in a half or quarter page ad in your
