Born in Macon, lie had lived in
Berry lor the last 11 years. He was
a student at Perry High School
and a member of (he First Baptist
Church of Hayneville. where he
took part in the Youth Ministry of
the Church and was a member ol
the Youth Sunday School Class
He was also a member of the Dry
Creek Hunting Club.
Survivors include his parents,
Beverly Shipp Nablc and Richard
David Nable Jr., of Perry; a sister
Ashley Nicole Nable of Perry, his
grandfather, Richard David Nable
Sr., his grandmother, Eva Clair
Shipp, both of Macon, and his
great-grandmother, Mary George
of Orlando, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, the family
requests donations to the Youth
Ministry. First Baptist Church of
Hayneville, P.O. Box 69.

have been awarded, according to

Transportation officials
The contract for a two-mile
paving project to extend Perry
Parkway from Industrial Park
Drive to C.S. Ml was awarded to
Reeves Construction Cos. ol
Amcricus for a low hid of
$3,906,766. The project, in addi
tion to grading, drainage and
paving, includes the construction
of a double bridge over Bay
Creek.

have joined the medical staff of Peach Regional Medical Center in Fort

Dr. Davis is board certified as an orthopaedic surgeon. He received his
undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona. His medical
degree is from the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Bartosh received his undergraduate degree from Southeastern
Louisiana University; his medical degree is from Louisiana State Univer
sity Medical Center, School of Medicine. He is board certified.

PERRY ROTC MEMBERS ADMIRE TROPHIES
Unit Won Awards During Recent Competition
Perry ROTC sweeps drill meet

The Perry High School Air
Force Junior ROTC Drill Teams
traveled to Green-Taliferro High
School Oct. 24, and competed in
an invitational Drill Meet. There
were 14 schools participating.
Perry High School ROTC won
six trophies. They were first in
Armed Regulation * and
Exhibition Drill and won (he
overall armed drill champi
onship This team was led by
Cadet Lt. Col Roy Ben Shelnutt.
Perry also won 2nd place in
armed inspection, and third in
unarhied color guard.
The unarmed color gUitYd team
was led by Cadet Tech Sgt. Salita
Wachowiak Other color guard
members were Cadet Tech Sgt
Donna Hansen. Cadet Captain
Barbara Buys, and Cadet Captain
Lila Honican
Cadets Michael Anderson and
Jimmy Jones won third Place in dual
armed exhibition drill Tins was the
first tune Anderson and Jones had
teamed together for this event.
