Obituaries
Marie Ligon Fitz Gerald
Funeral services were held for
Marie Ligon Fitz Gerald of Perry
on Dec. 3 at the First Baptist
Church of Hayneville. Burial was
in the Parkway Memorial
Gardens in Warner Robins.
Mrs. Fit/Gcrald died on Dec. I
at the Houston Medical Center.
She was 74 and had lived in Perry
lor 30 years, moving here from
Tennessee. She was the widow of
Guy Hough Fitz Gerald and was a
lifetime member of the Eastern
Star as well as a member of the
First Baptist Church of
Hayneville.
She is survived by a daughter.
Cathy F. Parker of Perry and two
sons. Henry L. Fitz Gerald of
Dcstin, Fla., and Guy S.
Fitz Gerald of Warner Robins, five
grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.

Olive Rich Partee
Funeral services were held for
Olive Rich Partee of Stone
Mountain on Dec. 5 at the First
Presbyterian Church of
Bainhridgc. Burial was in Oak
City Cemetery.
Mrs. Partee died on Dec. I at
the DeKalh Medical Center. She
was 71.
She was a native of Decatur
County and had lived in Stone
Mountain since 1971. A graduate
of the University of Georgia, she
was a member of Chi Omega
Sorority and of the F.astminstcr
Presbyterian Church of Stone
Mountain.
Survivors include her husband.
James Edward Partee; a son,
James Edward Partee Jr., of
Kennesaw; two daughters. Cecile
Partee English of Bainhridgc and
Frances Partee Hargrove of Perry ;
a sister. Cecil Frances Rich of
Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; a
brother. Jack Gray Rich of
Tallahassee. Florida, and five
grandchildren.

George Allen Storey
Funeral services for George
Allen Storey. 77, of Perry, were
held on Dec 4 at Rehoboth
Baptist Church Burial was in the
Perry Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Storey died on Dec. 2 at
his residence in Perry He was a
native of Woodbury and had lived
here since 1971 He was a retired
Chief Petty Officer with 30 years
of service in the U.S. Navy and
was a retired engineer from Perry
Hospital. He was a member of
Rehoboth Baptist Church, of the
VFW and the U.S. Navy Fleet
Reserve.
He is survived by his wife,
Edith Storey of Perry, two daugh
ters, Sherry Morrison of Live
Oak. Fla., and Sandra Argo of
Perry; four sons. Bill Andrews of
Marietta; Joe Andrews of Perry.
Ricky Rossel of Marietta, and
Charlie Hair of Macon; a sister.
Sadie Evans of Perry, and a num
ber of grandchildren and great
grandchildren.

Ruth Boutwell Taylor
Funeral services for Ruth
Boutwell Taylor, 93, of
Clinchfield, were held on Dec 4
at Watson-Hunt Chapel, with bur
ial in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist
Church Cemetery in Bibb County
Mrs Taylor died on Dec I at the
Perry Hospital.
She was a native of Crawford
County and had lived in
Clinchfield for 70 years. She was
the widow of James Madison
Taylor. She was a retired aircraft
maintenance employee from
Robins Air Force Base. She was a
member of A.A.R.P., the Vista
Club. Pink Ladies and the
Clinchfield Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a son , the
Rev. Marvin Taylor of
Clinchfield, a sister. Agnes B.
Camp of Silver Springs. Fla., four
grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.

Auditions to be
held for ‘Annie’
From Stah Kkpurts
Auditions for the Perry
Players' production of “Annie”,
will begin on Dec. 12 at 10 a.m.,
with try-outs for girls from seven
to 14 years of age only. Because
“Annie" is a musical, those who
come for the audition should be
prepared to sing.
Adult auditions will be at 2
p.m., Dec. 13, and 7 p.m.. Dec.
15.
Those trying out for the play
may bring their own sheet music
or may choose to sing from a
selection of Christmas Carols pro
vided at the audition.
The play will be directed by
Donna B. James with Susanne
Webb providing musical direction
and will open on Friday 26 with
performances through March 13.
