Although last year's eighth

son with a 10-3 record. Coach
John Warlick knew that the loss
of starter Dontc Miller to Tabor
would greatly affect the Panthers.
Miller was the team's center
and top rebounder. The boys have
lost two by close scores and won
the other by only six.

THE BIG MOMENT Arlene Nipper (avoce left) of the Perry High
School Softball Boosters holds the container for Mayor Jim Worrall to
draw the names of the lucky recipients of several collections of gifts.
The group of moms and dads held the raffle to raise funds for the
team. Chances were sold in downtown Perry in conjunction with the
Christmas parade. Members of Perry High School's softball team
(below) were on hand to help with the sale of tickets for the Booster's
big fund-raiser.
