vice president of Weyerhaeuser
Canada’s Grade Praire/Grand
Cache operations, effective in
January. The announcement was
made at Weyerhaeuser’s Flint
River Operations, where Slater
has served as assistant mill man
ager.
Slater, a chemical engineer,
has provided leadership for key
business results, including safety,
production and manufacturing
cost. In addition she helped
implement Weyerhaeuser’s capi
tal effectiveness program, and;
has led product development,
technical management and work
systems development during her
13-year career in the pulp indus
try. :
She and her husband. Mike,
and their children, Michael, Blair
and Hannah, will relocate to the;
Grand Prairie area soon.
