November 1996. is Elsie’s good
friend as is Sara Tabor. Another
friend is Charlie, a mannequin
given to her by her late brother

computers that was everything
we ever wanted to know about
them, but didn’t even know how
to ask!
Pat and co-hostesses Sara,
Annette Johnson, Sue Lott and
Iris Tedders served spiced tea,
coffee and slices of cake made
by Sue from a recipe of her
mother, Corine Cox.
Pea Pickin’ Cake
1 box yellow cake mix
1 small can Mandarin oranges
and juice
1 cup com oil
4 eggs
1 3 oz. vanilla instant pudding
Mix all together well.
Bake in 3 9-inch layer pans
350 degrees approximately 35
minutes.
Icing
1 12 1/2 oz. whipped topping
1 15 1/2 oz. crushed pineapple
1 3 oz. vanilla instant pudding
Mix together well. Ice layers,
top and sides. Refrigerate cake
overnight.

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. poppy seed
2 tsp. dill weed or dill seed
400 degree oven preheated.
Melt butter in an 8 or 9”cake
pan (in the oven). Tilt pan to coat
bottom with butter. Sprinkle
onion, dill and poppy seed even
ly over melted butter. Separate
dough into 10 biscuits, and then
cut each one into 4 pieces.
Place the biscuit pieces and
cheese in a plastic bag; close and
shake to coat.
Arrange the coated biscuit
pieces evenly in prepared pan.
Sprinkle any remaining cheese
from bag over the biscuits in the
pan. Bake 15-18 minutes, or
until golden brown. Turn out
onto serving plate and serve
warm.
