City with friendship and co-oper
ation. We are just happy to have
you in the county.”
When asked why Cagle chose
Houston County. Martin said the
existing building made it attrac
tive. the building lends itself to a
retro-tit and others don’t which
helped.
Martin said “My job is to
answer questions. I try to match
questions with answers and be
professional. When 1 am asked a
question that I don't know the
answer to. I try to match the per
son asking the question with
someone who does know the
answer.”
Volunteers needed
to work with
victims of violence
HODAC's Victim Resource
Center is recruiting Volunteers
who are interested in working
with victims of domestic vio
lence and cider abuse victims.
The program is in need of
strong, independent men and
women to help victims through
the emotional and legal process
es.
The Volunteers will be respon
sible for the follow-up process
with victims, answering phone
calls from victims, and accompa
nying victims to court.
Volunteers will be needed dur
ing regular business hours only,
but volunteers will be scheduled
as they arc available.

-7 p.m. A barbecue will take place the same day at 5
p.m. at the school and parents will be able to tour the
building during the open house ceremony. For more
