STAR Student from Perry High
School. She named Lynn Asbury
as her STAR Teacher making it
even more of a banner year for
the teacher. Lynn recently
became engaged to marry Tony
Batten of Blackshear, a long ago
teen-age friend who owns Tony
Batten’s Mens Shop in
Blackshear. They are planning
their wedding for June 12 in
Blackshear.
Lynn will teach one more year
at Perry High before she retires
and while son Kris plays his
senior year of basketball and golf
for PHS. Kas is continuing his
freshman year at ABAC.

So Dedicated” to be available to
the public. March 13, after 1
p.m. at Galleria Mall Bobbe will
be located nearby the African
violet show and sale. March 20,
2-4 p.m., Muses Book Club will
host a reception at Perry Library.
Bobbe’s book will be available for
purchase and autographing. Also
present at the library will be local
artists Butler Brown and Gloria
Ragland with their available
prints.

The Medical Staff, the Administrator and the Employee Team of Peach Regional Medical
Center are pleased to announce the association with our hospital of three of the finest
obstetrical/gynecological doctors In Georgia. These doctors will observe regular hours every
Tuesday in their private office at the hospital in Fort Valley.
The doctors, in their turn, will see pre-natal patients in Fort Valley on a regular basis.
Birthing will be at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins. Gynecological patients will be
seen in Fort Valley or Warner Robins, according to the patient’s convenience and need.

Perry High School office posi
tion.

Willie and Barbara Tyson
have returned from an enjoyable
three week Florida vacation in
their mo|or home. In Ocala they
visited their nephew, Jeff Pitzcr
of Lynchburg, Ohio, who is win
tering there and training horses.
They attended a fellowship
church weekend meeting at
Winter Garden and then stayed
at Good Life RV Resort between
Lake Wales and Bartow while
visiting relatives and touring.
Willie and Barbara are mem
bers of the Family Motor Coach
Association and will attend the
convention at the Agricenter
later this month.
