of Expectation, and this is the new
lineup's debut since the band's last
show in October of '06.
LAZER/WiiLF (Tasty World) This local
arf-metal five-piece mixes in prog and
more eclectic influences, and last year
released its demo album Demo-Lition.
THE MARQUEE BLUES (Eastwood
Pub) The Marquee Blues features
members of the Michael Guthrie Band
and The 60s playing classic British
blues-influenced rock like that of
Clapton and Cream. Every Wednesday,

PELICAN (40 Watt) Pelican recently
put out City of Echoes, an album that
finds the Chicago dudes evolving into
more contemplative sounds without
abandoning the heaviest aspects of
