Overcoming by Faith
Ministries invites all kids,
teens, families, and friends to
Fall Festival 2008,
Wednesday, October 29 at
7:00 p.m. in the Savannah
Civic Center Johnny Mercer
Theater. This year's theme,
“School's In. Stand Out”, is a
spectacular musical where
you can see how characters
like John the Baptist, Simon
Peter, Judas and Jesus might
have been in High School!
Kids, put on your best
costumes and join the cast of
“School's In. Stand Out” for
a fun-filled night full of high
school cheerleaders, twirling
flag corps, miming janitors,
silly librarians, singing pup
pets and much more.
Admission is free and all
kids will receive a HUGE
bag of candy following the

One in the Spirit Event
set for November 1
One in the Spirit: A
Catholic Homecoming is a
South Georgia celebration of
the Catholic faith. Catholics
and those interested in the
faith are invited to the
Georgia National
Fairgrounds in Perry,
Georgia from 10 a.m. to 6
p.m. on Saturday, November
1. The day will feature
speakers, Mass, music, the
Sacrament of Reconciliation,
food, vendors and more.
There is no admission
charge.

Trinity Church Holds
Celebration On the Square
Trinity Church,
Savannah’s oldest Methodist
church, celebrates its 160th
anniversary on Telfair Square
with a fun-filled event for the
entire family. On Saturday,
October 25th, from 3 - 7p.m,
the church will fill Telfair
Square with its Celebration
On the Square. The major
fundraising event will feature
live music, a Low Country
Boil , a big silent auction,
book sale and games to enter
tain and delight one and all.
Admission is $20 for
Adults and includes Low
Country Boil and child-
friendly food. $10 for chil
dren under 12. Boston Butts
will be available for $20
each.
Since 2005, the small
Trinity Church family of
about 300 has held a
Restoration Gala fundraising
event every year to help
defray the cost of its
$500,000-plus, award-win
ning exterior restoration. The
historically-accurate restora
tion was recognized in 2006
with an award from the
Historic Savannah
Foundation.

shares her testimony with
others to empower them to
